known... slew The giant Goliath, with a sling shot, when he was but a lad,
anointed by Samuel at the Lords direction to be King, slew 10s of
thousands of Philistines, according to the women of Israel. David was
highly favored of God, and King Saul, Jonathan's father, was afraid of
David. King Saul made numerous attempts on David's life.

me, protect me, care for me,'; the Bible doesn't say where each
lived, or if they lived together, but in order for David to fulfill his
part of the covenent, he would have had to live close, if not with
Jonathan.
In 1 Samuel 20:16, David and Jonathan reaffirm their covenant.Darlene Matthews Brownhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10388439058402434547noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7083641033208115285.post-68549033582879676732013-01-24T12:00:00.002-08:002014-01-10T14:21:44.715-08:00King Saul - Enraged Father!!

King Saul was troubled, and called a search for a young man who was
good at playing the harp. Therfore came the youngest son of Jesse,
[David]. David played the harp, slew Goliath, killed many other
Philistines, fell in love with the Prince Jonathan, they made the
covenent mentioned above, and David became famous in Sauls kingdom,
and Saul became very wroth.

This verse proves that the
covenent was not merely 'brotherly' love, but a homesexual
relationship..... 1 Samuel 20: 30-31

Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he
said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious [woman], do not I
know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and
unto the confusion of thy mother's nakedness?
1 Sa 20:31 For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground,
thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and
fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die.
1 Sa 20:32 And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said unto him,
Wherefore shall he be slain? what hath he done?
1 Sa 20:33 And Saul cast a javelin at him to smite him: whereby
Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to slay David.
1 Sa 20:34 So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and did
eat no meat the second day of the month: for he was grieved for David,
because his father had done him shame.

My study Bible defines the word 'confusion' as
meaning 'shame' .

Jonathan did not deny the relationship, tried
to protect David, and King Saul was wroth enough to kill them both.
Later when it was safe to get away, Jonathan met David in a field and
they kissed and wept, because for Davids safty, David needed to part
from Jonathan. The whole book of 1 Samuel reads like a very good
romance novel, and I encourage reading it.

Some people think that if a 'gay' person has sexual
relations with the opposite sex, that that 'proves' they are not or no
longer 'gay', actually most 'gays' have had relations with both,
some long lasting, than what defines 'gay' is the fact that 'gays'
prefer their own sex.

I don't feel that gays in any
way threaten the institution of marriage, between a man and women, or
threaten future population growth. The following verse is what David
said when hearing of Jonathan's death.

2 Samuel
1:26

I am distressed for thee,
my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to
me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

There you have it. The anointed King David chosen and
beloved by God 'preferred' his relationship to Jonathan above his
relationship to 'women', he had two wifes at that time, DAVID WAS GAY!!
